Packing facility

Whether an avocado is destined for a lucky school lunchbox or a respected restaurant’s recipe, we aim to deliver fruit of the highest possible quality. It’s what we call our orchard to plate guarantee – and we achieve it by:

  • Abiding by stringent quality standards that exceed market expectations and often fetch a better price.
  • Only packing fruit that is above 24% Dry Matter – a test we undertake for our growers
  • Ensuring all fruit is delivered to the end customer within 21 days of being packed.
  • Only using high-grade cool store and grading facilities.
  • Investing in state-of-the-art equipment that allows us to grade 6 million trays per season.

    Quality Assurance

    Our in-house Quality Assurance Manager (also known as Dawn) keeps our accredited growers informed on ICA 30 and Freshcare standards. It’s a process that covers record keeping, water testing, fruit testing, general quality control, and more.

    Supply

    Our longstanding relationships with major exporters, wholesale markets, big name supermarket chains and fierce independents means we have the right connections in the right places.

    Transport

    By only using professional, accredited, and reputable transport companies, we ensure that the journey from South West to sourdough slice, salad, or side is as smooth as possible.
